My daughter doesn't like going in the Ergobaby with me

Hi all,
We have a gorgeous 4 month old girl. For the first couple of months she was very happy going in a Caboo fabric sling with me but now we're using an Ergobaby and she just hates it when I use it. She's fine going in it with her mum. I took her out today and she screamed for 20 minutes so I had to come back. This has happened several times. She seems happier in the pram when I take her out in that. Any thoughts or suggestions very welcome!

Are you setting up the Ergobaby properly to fit on you? And are you putting it tight enough - I find my husband is nervous to pull it tight enough for fear of squishing the baby and then he slides around.

Also if she liked the fabric sling maybe think about trying the wrap/stretchy carriers for a while? At four months mine really wanted to be snugged up tight and able to snooze on my chest and the Ergobaby wouldn't have done the job at all.

Thanks for your reply. I have had a very similar experience to your partner of not wanting to squash her so have had it too loose in the past with resulting head wobbles. Trying to get it tighter now but maybe your idea of continuing with the fabric sling for a while is a good one. Will give that a go!
