What could this possibly me on my babies head ?

Few days back a boil had appeared on babies head. It was crusty and yellow. I applied mupirocin cream. The crust fell of in a couple of days revealing only a tiny mustard seed sized pimple. But over the past couple of days that pimple like flat raised thing is expanding. I have attached pic of it. I am not sure if it's filled with fluid.

Difficult to see, but ringworm?

I think ringworm is a good guess. A video consultation with the GP would confirm it.

I should also add that ringworm doesnt look like a stereotypical ring when its on scalps, it more looks like a red blotch

Cradle cap is crusty and yellow in the scalp.

As I said , there was a yellowish (pus filled ?) Boil on this place which had become crusty. The crusty part fell off , ending up with a tiny pimple which expanded into what is now.

Also it feels like slightly raised than the rest. And I feel it has a dimple (depression) in centre of it.

Hi OP here. The red patch has now disappeared on its own.
