Eczema and rubbing eyes

My 18 week old keeps getting flares up of eczema on his stomach and back. He has also started rubbing his eyes when he’s not tired.

I went to the doctors about this thinking it could be a reaction to the dairy I’m having and she said no because of the weight he’s putting on. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience on what this could be?

Following because my 22 week old has a similar problem.

It started on just his face, and we persevered with natural things for a few weeks. A couple of weeks ago, I relented and called the GP, who prescribed a hydrocortisone cream and a moisturiser. The creams worked great, but no sooner had the rash on his face gone, it flared up on his tummy and back, which were previously fine. I'm baffled.
