Monochrome games for toddlers

Hi!
I just wanted to ask for some opinions on monochrome (black and white) games and books for kids. Couldn't find a lot of 'proof' or scientific reasoning behind it online so if anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Do you personally use any books or games that are just black and white coloured?

Any specific recommendations for mobile games and what are your opinions about using a monochrome mobile game for stimulation (e.g on a trip in a car or similar circumstances)?

Lots of love! Smile

Tiny babies love black and white things because they can see the contrast when their vision is still developing. Dunno of any reason why toddlers would particularly find monochrome appealing/beneficial, though.

I am a vision science researcher. Why on earth would you want monochrome toys for a toddler, when colour vision is fully developed by 3 months in an infant?

I believe the appeal is for the first few months only.

Great for newborns, probably just a bit boring for toddlers, they tend to like bright colours. There's no benefit to it at all past a few weeks old
