Hey,

So a bit of a back story to mother day first.
It was mine and my partners anniversary, the day after it was Mother’s Day and the day after that it was my partner’s mother’s birthday.
On the day of our anniversary he came home with a bunch of flowers and a card and said happy anniversary, happy Mother’s Day.
I had the flowers literally two hrs before he took them back and went to his moms with them to give them to her for her birthday. This made my blood boil but I kept my mouth shut as our little girl was only 4 weeks old and I couldn’t be arsed with an argument. A £10 bunch of flowers spread across three occasions and between two women. It still upsets me now and I really feel like not getting him anything at all but I’m not going to be that petty.

Although I will get him something I don’t know what to get. I refuse to spend a lot of money also. Any ideas x

Thanks x

I’d get him whatever you were going to get your dad/FIL - he can look at it for a couple of hours first!

You need to be a grown up here. If you are unhappy with his behaviour then speak to him about it rather than getting something kind of revenge. It takes two people to make a relationship work or not. His behaviour was not acceptable but so you really want your life to turn into some kind of grudge match?
