dry flakey skin on willy, nappy issue?

Well as title says he has developed flakey skin on his willy, hes in cloth, paper lined or fleece lined randomly. I've popped some sudo cream on tonight, any other surgestions. I do have doublebase cream for his legs and arms which get very dry in winter.
Any one else had this with a boy and feel I should be more concerned than I am ( not very)

hello!
sorry you were unnoticed here...

my ds3 has same thing... is part of ongoing (snoreworthy im sure) skin ishoos for him...

anyhoo - have you thought about it being dermatitis-like? exzema-y? and therefore soothable with oilatum cream/bath etc?

sudocrem amazing for actual rashes ime, but rubbish fro dry skin...

hi, my ds got dry bits too...found better with fleece than paper and used v thin smear calendula cream if red and flaky or just coconut or olive oil if just dry...both dh and i made sure we were thorough on drying as wondered if it was fiddling with bits meant got dried less....

A reaction to the nappy or washing powder would lead to dry patches all over wouldn't it ?

Sudocrem is v good but tends to dry the skin further. My GP suggested vaseline for my DD dry patches instead and that worked a treat.

I dont think i'd be overally worried from what you describe.

seems to have cleared up, but will keep an eye open. he gets mystery rashes frequently and does have dry skin in winter so i assume it was just a combination of those things and may be a liner that rucked up and rubbed a bit.
Thanks for the back up to my unconcerned about things parenting.

Do you use a balm? I use the Earth Mama Angel Baby on e (natural, organic, no chemicals )
If my DD gets a rash - this usally clears it up in no time.
