5 month old screaming

Hi, my DS is just gone 5months and he has definitely found his voice. He screams when he's sad and he screams to amuse himself.

Recently though he's screaming with no noise coming out. Just very quiet or like air coming out. It's usually when he's doing his happy screaming but I don't know if it's normal or if he's made himself hoarse?
I tried to google it but I couldn't find anyone talking about this in particular.

My DD does that sometimes, generally when she's overwhelmed with joy, she goes supersonic! It hadn't occurred to me to worry, we generally just laugh at her!

Sounds totally normal to me OP, my DD who is 6 months does this, usually its followed by a laugh or a smile!

DD is 6m and recently discovered screeching at such a pitch, she sounds like a parrot. Mostly to amuse herself, or because she can and it gets her the attention she wants. its her way of starting to communicate i guess
