Hi, my husband has been working non stop during lock down and finally has a day off tomorrow. I want to take our toddler out for the day/ morning and was thinking of avoiding busy beaches. I wondered if anyone could recommend any lakes/ rivers around Manchester / Stockport (or even up to an hour or so) that are not massive tourist traps and we'd be able to safely socially distance and maybe paddle in the water and have a picnic? Does such a place exist?
