Constipation

I always wonder if my little boy is constipated.
He's 7month, and has been weaned for around 2 months now. I found some things made him definitely constipated. Now he's on stage 2 weaning and I'm trying recipes from Joe wicks.

He appears to really have to try to poo, and his pops are very similar to adults, rather than a mushy poo. Is this normal? He goes every day but is he constipated? They aren't hard little lumps they tend to big big smooth blobs?

Doesnt sound like constipation. Just sounds like normal for a baby now taking solids
