8mo old bath products

Hi,

Can you tell me about your baby's bath routine?

My DS is 8 months, we use baby bath and cradle cap shampoo. He has eczema but the doctor said these products are fine as we use creams three times a day to keep at bay.

We just pour it in the bath, get some bubbles and wash him down with a sponge and then I thought, should I be using a product directly on his skin?

Sounds stupid because he's 8 months and I obviously should know how to bathe him.

Initially we didn't use anything other than water followed by putting on his eczema cream, then as he got older the doctor said it was fine to use bath products so I'm at a loss at what ones!

Sorry if this sounds stupid! I'm doubting everything I'm doing lately!

You can use aqueous cream as a soap substitute I think

Oooo I'll try that!

How often do you bath your baby? When DD was little she had terrible eczema. We were told to minimise the number of baths she had. Since then, we've only bathed her once or twice a week and her eczema has cleared up. (Obviously we wash her hands, face etc much more frequently).
