Hi folks, alot of people have told me going from 2 kids to 3 is extremely hard...i am a mother of 2 boys 9 and 6 and am now pregnant with baby no.3 a girl. ..(shocked..as hubby comes from family 5 boys) is there really a big struggle from 2 to 3 kids?? I think tbh im reading too into it and worrying over nothing. I guess as parents,we just get on with it...would love to hear your thoughts x

Hi I have very similar to you I have 2 boys age 10 and 5 and a 16 week old daughter. I won't lie I have found it hard going from 2 to 3. The thing I find hard is splitting my time. It's gotten a bit easier as my daughter is getting a bit older but I feel guilty about now giving my boys the time they had with me before my daughter. I'm sure this lockdown hasnt helped at all because my boys haven't been at school and I've been lonely and cant go to baby groups and do things I did with my boys at that age.

I think the age gaps are helpful because your boys will understand more about why the baby needs lots of attention and they can also have each other to play with . My boys adore my daughter beyond anything I could've ever imagined! They play with her and love having a cuddle. I think although it's tough its so so worth it. Any questions please ask x
