What time do they go to bed and get up?

Just turned 3 dd, gets up 8 and goes to bed at 8. She does sometimes get up earlier or later but still goes to bed at 8 or just before.

I have been wondering the same, I know that a toddler of my sons age (2yrs 9 months) should be sleeping 12/14 hrs. The rational side of me tells myself, every child is different and he will sleep what he needs.

I have just started to drop his nap, as it was taking him ages to get to sleep for his nap and then again at bedtime, so he now goes to bed at 18.15, asleep about 18.30/18.45 then wakes up about 06.30. He doesn't come out of his room until 07.00 and his "sun clock comes up" he's quite happy singing until then.

But now he's is waking up for a poo about 05.45 , he's happy to jump back in bed after he's been the loo, but doesn't go back asleep. so he's not getting a full 12hrs. So I worry he's not getting enough.

But in short he's sleeping 18.45 to 05.45.

So I’m definitely in the awkward transition phase of dumping the nap. Yesterday no nap, bed at 7.15 (6.30 wake up). Today was getting super grumpy so napped for an hour and a half, bed at 8...finally asleep by 9, will prob still wake around 6/6.30.
