How old is old enough for kids to sleep overnight in a tent in the garden?
Thoughts please

I guess it depends on how secure your garden is and whether people could easily see that children were alone in the garden. Also how sensible the children are needs to be considered. In a secure garden with sensible children I would say around 10/11 maybe?

Depends entirely on your garden, your area and your kids.

Safe garden, safe area, sensible kids - I would say 8 if they're the eldest child, from 5 if they were with older siblings.

My eldest was 8. The tent was just below our bedroom window, which was open, and we could hear every word they said, but they didn’t realise!
