Recommendations for toddler summer sleeping bag

I’m struggling with not being able to go to shops and physically choose clothes!

18mo DD has to sleep with a sleeping bag, she seems to be totally weirded out and unsettled without one. However, her room in this heat is about 23/24 degrees so I really just want a single muslin layer of sleeping bag.

Does anyone have any recommendations? M&S are our usual favourite but they’ve sold out of 1 tog in her size. Jojo seems to get bad reviews on quality. Anyone use a AdenandAnais type?

I bought 1 tog ones from Amazon, my DD is nearly 2 and like you I found they were sold out everywhere else. They were a brand I'd not heard of before and I can't even remember it now but they are fine. I'm not sure that your child will need a sleeping bag in a room of that temp though, would a thin blanket not be ok? We use 1 tog at the moment but her room is 20-22 so a bit cooler.

Try Slumbersac

1 tog is still wadded, you may find still too warm. I’ve got DS in a 1 tog currently and his room is 21 degrees. I’ve recently ordered a 0.2 tog Grobag for when the temperature increases. I got it on sale at Asda (George) - might be worth a look. Still more than I wanted to pay for something that will get very little use, but super low tog sleeping bags are hard to come by sadly. My DS also won’t tolerate the lack of sleeping bag (plus it helps to keep him in his cot!)

Aden and Anais or slumbersac muslin ones.

I was also very particular in that I don’t like sleeping bags with front zips, and this narrowed the search down quite a bit. Just because DS is a tummy sleeper so I can’t imagine the zip being there all that comfortable!

Thanks for all these replies, really helpful. I didn’t know other places sold Grobags, I’ll definitely look into that because I know ideally I should be getting less than 1 tog.

I’d love it if she’d settle with just a blanket, but she’s a sleeping bag addict and I’m not in the right place to face the sleeplessness that will come with taking it away!

We had 0.5 fro bag. Its just literally a sheet

Gro

Would she sleep if you left it unzipped partly? Sometimes when DD goes to bed and it's too hot for the tog of her sleeping bag but we know it will get colder overnight we just leave her half unzipped or whatever so there's space for heat to escape and then when we go to bed we check on her and zip her all up then if needed.

The Aden and Anais muslin ones are very good. I’d still use one of those if I could but 2.5 year old now needs feet out so we have a slumbersac 1.0 tog one which is fine (and has feet). But it’s 24 in his room now anyway so he’s just in long pj’s.
