Is the name Louis only for babies and toddlers?

My son is 16 month and his name is Louis. It's a popular name and I know that but two people have commented recently that it sounds very baby and they can't think of Louis as being a grown man.

He got his name due to my DHs dad and brother have Louis as a middle name and we liked it (after checking over 3000 names on that name app) & Theodore as his middle name as my great grandfather was a Theodore.

I worked with a Louis who was really nice and never thought about it but now just wanted to hear your thoughts on this.

I know 2 Louis - aged 20 or 21. Both charming. One is a Louie and the other Louis. I don't know any others in person, other than the famous ones already mentioned.

All the Louis I know pronounce it the proper way (ie. the French way).

Including 58 year old BIL. (An age not yet on the Bingo card).

One direction guy 🤣 I actually think it sounds odder on a baby, but a decent man's name.

Louis is a classic name. Though you can judge better than I can Smile, I'm sure that it shouldn't be a problem to keep calling him that.

Come now. The sun king was so old his great grandson succeeded him.
