I'm so confused. She will be 9kg soon. I hope. Do I move to 1 stage car seat? Currently we are using the baby carrier.

What car seat so you currently have? Most infant carriers go up to 13kg Rear facing is far safer, and you can rearface now up to 25kg with some seats.

Hi @Shmithecat2 thank you for the reply. I have the joie baby carrier. It says up to 9kg. So I should start looking for one up to 13-18kg? Is that stage 2?

Sounds like you have a 0 now

Most cover a range of groups after that so you want rear facing birth-4 years

@Muffinandcake123, no, 13-18kg is 1. If you like the Joie carrier you have, you could stick with the brand. They're good value and well tested, above minimum legal requirements. Do you have a budget in mind, and what car does it need to fit in?
