today my little girl has been very niggly and has pink cheeks, not very pink but she doesnt normally have that. Shes been crying almost all day and has vomited so much. Her temp is usually 36.3c but is currently between 36.8c-37.1.

I dont want ir to be the virus, am i reading in to this too much. She has tried some new food today, she had about a third of a teaspoon of baby otmeal mixed with breastmilk. could it be that?

Could she be teething?

Springb0ks · 26/05/2020 21:22

Could she be teething? A bit chewed in the hotter weather?

3luckystars · 26/05/2020 21:24

It also sounds like she has some reflux. She is probably too young for food also so I would not give that unless advised by a paediatrician.

Is she having lots of wet nappies as normal?

Why are you feeding her oatmeal?

What made you take her temperature?

She could be teething, she could be hot from the weather if it's warm where you are.

If you're worried call for advice but it really isn't a temperature at all.

Where will she sleep tonight?

I’d be tempted to strip her to her nappy and let her body do the rest at this point.

TeaAndASitDown · 26/05/2020 21:25

Was she screaming constantly before you gave her the oatmeal? Could it have upset her tummy?

alesha123445 · 26/05/2020 21:25

it being teething never crossed my mind, she is teething too. thank you :)

Is there a particular reason for the oatmeal? Medically advised for example? It will be extremely hard on her little digestive system which won't likely be developed enough to cope hence sickness.

How many layers of clothes do you have in her?

Teething also can cause higher or lower than normal temperature.
