What to do with my old prefolds and wraps?!

I have a big box of prefolds and wraps just sitting under our bed now ds doesn't need them anymore. Dp wants to drop them off at the charity shop but I'm not sure Help the Aged would appreciate that! My friend used her old ones for cleaning but I really don't need 40-odd extra cloths, I don't clean that much. Any ideas?

If you are prepared to give them away, donate them to your local Real Nappy Network. They will appreciate them and and probably pass them on to a family who needs them. Find tehm with the Nappy Finder

Or sell them on MN or here

That way they can then be used as nappies still!

If you want to take them to a charity shop, I believe that Oxfam recycle textiles

log onto freecycle.org. you will find a local group, if you join it and offer them on the website a member will collect them from you to use them on their baby.

Charity shops won't sell them (I used to work in Oxfam) so don't waste your time.

I know charity shops won't sell them, but I was under the impression that if you took them to Oxfam, they sent them to their recycle plant in Huddersfield. As someone who used to work there, curiouscat, is that not the case then?

And Freecyle is a good idea!!
