MMR after effects

Hi all

Our DD has her 1 year jabs a week ago including MMR. She had gone from a happy little girl to being miserable grizzly and not herself. She has a temp now and a rash. It just seems to have been constant for her!

Did anyone else experience this ? How long did it last? I feel so guilty to have done this to her :( I know it’s important and I’m not interested in a pro/anti vaccine argument, just wanted others experiences really. Thanks

Sorry your DD isn't well. It's a long time ago now, but DD had 3 separate reactions to the M, M and the R which made her very grumpy and quite unwell. She recovered after about 2 weeks and in the long run I'm glad she had it. (DS had no serious reaction.)

Not too helpful but my DD had hers a week ago too and she's had a rough time too, vomiting and fever for 48 hrs after and grumpy and out of sorts since. 7 days today and she seems a bit better, praying it lasts!

It can take a few weeks after the 1 year jabs in some children to get back to 'normal'. Keep an eye on her but doesn't sound too out of the ordinary, and please don't feel bad! It's worth it, there are quite a few outbreaks around the country so definitely worth a bit of grizzliness.

Thanks for your replies guys I know it’s the right thing I never had a doubt but just feel guilty knowing I’ve “caused it”
