Working from home and looking after toddler

Since lockdown started we have no childcare like everyone else of course, and I've been working from home. My partner is in construction so had been at home with me but has recently returned and I'm finding it so tough to manage.

My dd is 20 months and I'm pregnant with second baby. It's so difficult to manage both and feel I'm doing both jobs in such a poor way. Just feel that everyone else seems to be getting on with it and managing but I feel as though I'm constantly pulled- she's at the age where she's causing destruction everywhere, wants constant attention and I can't explain to her why I have to be stuck on my laptop all day. How are other people managing this?

It's really, really hard. We're both wfh with our 15 month old and are both permanently exhausted, I don't know how anyone is doing this single handed. I'm shit at both jobs, he's not getting the attention he needs and I'm not doing enough hours in my job.

The way we get through the day is to let him roam for a while then stick him in the high chair or travel cot with some toys and Cbeebies on. He's fairly ok with that for a while. When he starts getting fractious one of us will take him out and take him for a walk or play with him for a bit, just distract him. It is getting harder as he gets older, he's gone from just turned 1 and still almost a baby to a full fledged toddler during lockdown. We get almost no time to ourselves and when we do get some (like now) we're too tired to do anything except scroll through the internet. I feel like I've lost me completely, just when I was starting to get me back a bit after a year of maternity leave.
