Colief and Gaviscon?

Hi,
One of my twins has bad colic and today was also diagnosed with silent reflux. He has been on colief drops for about a week and we saw a very small improvement with his feeding. I’ve now been given infant Gaviscon but completely forgot to ask if he can keep taking the Colief too? Has anyone done this?
Thanks!

Yes you can although I would try gaviscon alone first rather than throwing everything at baby. At least this way you know what works and what dosent and by the sounds of colief dosent seen to be helping your babe. I had my baby on everything until the health visitor told me to try one at once.

I feel your pain. My baby is 12 weeks and suffers. Hes been on gavison for about 3 weeks now and hes improved slightly. I will warn you though, it causes terrible constipation, I was warned by the doctor and my baby suffered and still suffers. Hes on 2.5ml of lactulose morning and night and a t spoon of apple juice around lunch time (2 doctors told me to do this before anyone starts) and it helps keep it relatively soft.

Good luck Flowers x
