Overly attached to one parent during lockdown

hello,

My DS has always been a mummy’s boy but since lockdown I feel this has gotten 10x worse. He’s 16 months. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice to feel wanted and I love the endless amount of cuddles but I do feel sorry for my DH as no matter how hard he tries to interact if I’m not in the room (I.e in the bathroom or cleaning a separate room) he will just scream.

Anyone else going through the same problem and any advice on how to help?

Thank you 😊

The only thing you can do is to go with it. Try and force him being with DH might just make him more anxious.

It's a phase, a quite tiring one if I remember but definitely just a phase Smile
