but how on earth did I get a 4 year old??

And a 2 year old?

And a 6.5 year old?

Can't believe I have three children and they are all growing up so quickly.

I guess it is because I used to be a nanny and I gave them back at the end of the day!!

My Dad still calls me "kid" - I'll be 40 next year! Guess none of us like to think our kids are growing up. I tell him "Dad, I have a mortgage the size of the debt of a small country. a job and two small children to look after - I am a big girl now". He says, "See ya later kid"!

I remember when my mum turned 40. She was quite all right about it but my nan spent the whole day walking round saying "my baby is 40, my baby". By the evening my mum was saying "OMG I'm 40" in despairing tones .

I wind my mother up by saying to her "how does it feel to have a 45 year old daughter"

My babies both had their birthdays this last week and I suddenly wonder how I have 2 children whose ages add up to 22.

My father refers to me and my siblings as you "young people"

We're all just over or just under the age of 50
