3 month growth spurt? Advise needed

Hey. I put something similar on here a few days ago but just wanted to add to it but cant find my post.

My baby is 12 weeks old tomorrow and the last few days hes been so ratty.

Firstly I thought he might have been teething as his cheeks were rosy, he dribbles loads and frantically chews his hands.

Over the last few days hes been really grumpy and sleeping a lot more in the day time.

He sleeps 7pm till 12ish then till 5 and I cam normally get him back down for an hour following a feed. This morning he woke about 430am ish and wouldnt settle back down till 10am so almost 5 hour awake time. He slept 10 till 12 had a bottle and bum change and fell back asleep and still asleep

Hes eating every 3-4 hour 6oz plenty of wet nappies. Temp is between 37.0 and 37.1

Could this be a growth spurt maybe?

Thankyou.

it just sounds like teething to me

So early? I'm just concerned with his napping. He never sleeps this long.

Could be teeth or just growing and developing. My DS would change patterns quite regularly at that stage. I drove myself mad googling different possibilities. I think sometimes baby just gonna baby!

I found those Ashton & Parson teething granules were good for teething at that age.

Yes I need to stop googling that's for sure. That's what makes me all paranoid something is wrong. Hes currently led on his mat on top of an incontinence pad airing his tinky out happy as anything. Xx

If you believe Wonder Weeks, week 12 about the time for the 3rd 'leap'. So that could explain a few things.
