When did your DC start using pillows?

Mine is 2 (25 months) and doesn’t have one! He’s still in sleeping bags in his cot. I think we’ll move him to a bed in the autumn and will give him pillow and duvet then.

DS is 15 months and doesn’t have one. He sleeps on his face and seems really comfortable as is so just leaving him be.

When they moved from a cot and sleeping bag to a bed with bedding so about 2.5 for both of mine. Started with a toddler pillow that is really small and DC1 moved to a standard pillow at nearly 4.

Probably around 12 months. He's 2.5 now and has two in his bed. Sometimes he'll sleep on them sometimes just the mattress still

It's a long time since mine were babies, but I remember the common sense guidance at that time - Give them a pillow when they ask for one.
