Nappy Rash- Ointment

Sorry if in wrong thread, cannot find a correct place for this question.

My daughter 18m suffers with terrible nappy rash and I've tried all the OTC stuff sudocrem, metanium, bepanthem, zinc creams etc

Nothing works, it may settle but then it's back with a vengeance. For example I changed her at 7am and she was fine and by 8.30am she was red and sore and screaming when I tried to touch it to clean her.

When she was born she spent some time in NICU and TC anyway they gave me a really amazing ointment and I cannot for the life of me remember the name so was just wondering if anyone medical or pharmaceutical knew? It was an ointment and went on like a paste in a light brown colour?

TIA xx

I cant help you with the name of the cream, but perhaps look at what wipes you're using?

I only say this because my son developed a horrible nappy rash with pampers wipes, but has been fine with a flannel and water.

Agree with PP, maybe try just water and cotton pads. Have you tried changing brand of nappy to see if that makes any difference?
I always make sure my DD's bottom and bits are completely dry before I put another nappy one which I definitely think helps prevent nappy rash
