My DD is very lonely

My daughter is 7 years old, and is so sweet. She has lots of friends, and before lockdown would often have people over or go around to over peoples houses. She really enjoys the company, and hates being alone. I remember last year when she had to have an ear operation and was off school for a month, I found her crying in her room because she missed her friends so much. Last time I let them visit her. But I obviously can't do this now, and she was in bits last night, but according to her big sister, this wasn't the first time she had gotten upset. We have quiz night with her best friends family and some of my other friends, but apart from that, I don't know how to keep her connected. She doesn't have a phone so she cant facetime etc. How can I make her feel less lonely.

Have you got a phone or an iPad that she can use? Our seven yr old does houseparty while he’s playing Roblox with his friends which works well.

We have Yr 3 mums quiz night every Tuesday, and most times the kids like to stay on after its finished and talk to each other. Maybe you could organize something like that? Mine is also very lonely.
