My DD turns 7 soon and is obsessed with the TV show Butterbean Cafe - fairies who run a cafe - and also wants to camp in our back garden. Any ideas for activities / decorations etc?

I love Butterbean haha
You could make a pretend cafe and ask her to be the server etc. Invite Dad/Mum/Sister/Dog to the cafe and DD has to take orders, make up smoothies, decorate cupcakes etc.

You could make a day of it and create a task for each character?
Butterbean: Decide in days special (look at recipe book for soup or something else simple she can assist with) and set up cafe area
Poppy: make the special and/or get her to make her own recipe book where she writes out what to do then draws/takes pictures of what she makes. She can add to this when you do stuff in the future.
Cricket: decorate cupcakes
Dazzle: Make smoothies
Jasper: Go on a mission to collect secret ingredients. For example you could hide all the stuff for soup around the garden and house with clues to each one.
Cookie: Make a Cookie poster for the cafe

Lots of work for you to organise but it would certainly be memorable!
