I think it is becasue he is becoming aware he is needing/is doing a poo which is all the stages they have to go through.

DTSare fully toilet trained, dt2 likes to have a poo in private, but dt1 does'nt care who's around, and if her favourie show is on, she will bring the rarely used potty into the living room and sits on it in fron of the telly, and she is'nt quiet when she is having a poo
