Can we agree that children are icky little creatures?

I often entertain my own DC with posters’ anecdotes of disgusting teenagers (they particularly enjoyed the Pringles can full of wee). They’re fascinated with the gross and weird stuff teenagers and babies do. But today I pulled out 10yo DS’s bed to paint the wall and the side of the bed is absolutely covered with bogies. It was truly one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen and I had to use a wet cloth and a scraper to get them all off DS has been told in no uncertain terms that he is to use a tissue in future.

Children are just a bit gross, aren’t they?

Yesterday my daughter learnt to crawl. We found out that she'd managed it when we found her off her blanket on the lawn - she'd eaten handfuls of grass and then been sick. Like a cat. She then rolled over on her back and lay in a pool of her own vomit, shrieking with glee.
