Hello,
Grandparents have kindly offered to buy a magazine subscription for DS aged 9. Their suggestion was The Week Jnr Science and Nature but it’s very wildlife heavy and DS isn’t into that, plus we live in the Cayman Islands so all the articles and projects on starlings etc don’t work for us.
Can anyone suggest a Uk or US science/space/math online subscription for 8-12 year olds?
We can’t get print subscriptions as our borders and ports are closed and no postal service.

Thanks 😊

I got a subscription to new scientist for my 12th birthday and loved it. It's an adult magazine but if your son is very bright and interested in science he may like it. Should be available in newsagents so you can have a look at one and see if he would like it. Note though it is a weekly magazine and so quite expensive to subscribe to.

Double Helix is an Australian magazine for kids/teens. Says it is aimed at 8-14 year olds but when I read it age 10-12 or so I found it a little childish for my tastes. You can subscribe in the UK but it is a bit more expensive. There's a pdf sample magazine you can look at and see if he would like it. doublehelixshop.csiro.au/
