Cutting my 4mo DD's nails and...

...somehow managed to catch a chunk of her thumb! She didn't even cry so it took me a few seconds to realise but God, do I feel like an awful person! It bled like crazy but luckily a bit of epaderm ointment helped to ease the bleeding. She's happily sleep-feeding now but I just can't stop looking at it and feeling like a monster Blush bless her for being so brave about it though.

Oh yes this is my job - always the nail cutting and yes I did the same once upon a time...I have managed to not do it again!

Oh god, I did this the very first time I cut my DDs nails, she was so tiny but she didn't cry either - that was the first and only time I've used the baby clippers on her! Immediately got on Amazon and ordered a Thumble, they're amazing. She's 7 months now and lies there watching me file her nails with great interest!

DH did the to DS when he was newborn and hasn't cut his nails since. DS now 3 Hmm
