9mo not drinking from cup

I've been offering my 9mo DD a sippy cup since she was 7 months without success. She has maybe 2-3 times sucked it, but recently she just wants to play and splash water everywhere! When I try 'feeding' her milk with a cup she cries as if I'm taking a toy away. She's mix fed so uses to bottles.

I've tried the tomee tipee plastic cup, the MAM cup with a valve and the munchin 360 cup but no joy. Will it just click one day? Should I give her a break?

We had more luck at first with weighted straw cups. It took a while for DD to get the hang of the 360, but the straw cup is a sucking motion and she grasped that quickly.

Have you tried the doidy?

We have 7 different types of sippy cup here; my 13 month old will only take the one with the most bottle like teat! He just won't use them. He still has milk before his nap so I use the sippy cup in the daytime and a bottle at nighttime. I figure he will get there sooner rather than later and I should stop spending money on so many bloody cups!
