Worried mum from the uk, my daughter turned 2, 2 days ago and still wont bear weight on her legs, when i try to get her to stand while holding on to somthing her legs shake like jelly and she gets so upset, she has been going to physio but still no improvement, has anyone else been through this? Really need some advice all i do is worry and i can never see her walking even tho people tell me 'she will just get up one day and go' i cant see it happening tbh, its all i ever worry about, she goes along on her knees all day and her knees are so sore and bruised, i just wish she would get up on her feet

It's great you'll get a face to face.

We had MH sons neuro appointment by phone in April and rescheduled face to face for October so make sure they don't try and push it back until next year. (And my sons isn't an emergency what's wrong apt as he has a long term neuromuscular condition and we know what it is!)

Make a list during the next few months of any concerns. And it anything. Be it physical or even social or language etc. Even where she seems to be ahead of milestones as it builds a bigger picture.

In the meantime the stander should help with stretching the hamstrings and Achilles and increasing strength. It's often a great to have it at a table with something they love on too to distract so it doesn't become "a thing".
Also have the suggested and advised she wears boots for standing? This helps keep the feet in the right position and also supports the ankles.

Will she lay on her back and do stuff? It's good for those with an arch inwards on lower back and also laying over a physio ball. Laying on back and bringing her legs up to chest is also good.

There are such a range of things this could be and you'll find out in the end. In the meantime sounds like you have some good stuff to support you
