10 week old reduced appetite?

Hiya! My baby turns 10 weeks tomorrow and his feeding habits have changed over the past couple of days. We figured he was going through a growth spurt 8-9 weeks and decided to try him on 6oz formula every 3 hours which he was smashing through, but the past couple of days he’s gone back to only taking 5oz and sometimes he’ll only take 3oz or 4oz at a time. Lots of farting and spit up. His sleeping routine is out the window and he’s up every couple of hours. Is anyone else going through similar? I’m worried there’s something wrong but he’s still weeing and pooping like a trooper! Due to the spit up which can sometimes be a lot, and the farting, I thought about trying comfort milk? But I don’t want to rock the boat if this is just a phase..

He seems perfectly happy in himself otherwise, smiling and babbling away, no temp.

Forgot to add, when he’s had enough he’ll just cry until I get up and walk him around.

Just fed him. He basically gets to a certain point and then farts/squirms and starts crying and won’t take anymore. Sometimes he sucks once or twice then gets frustrated and seems in discomfort, so I walk him around and he’s fine. I can’t work out if he farts and wriggles in discomfort, or wriggles which makes him fart! Reflux? He did this once or twice in the past too

Sounds more like trapped wind. Do you wind him during and after the feeds? My DS had hellish trapped wind while feeding from about 10 weeks till a few weeks ago, maybe 15, when he learned how to burp himself. He was often sick if he had a belly full of wind so we winded him every 30mil or so. He has silent reflux too but that was more back arching and crying in pain during/after a feed. He has always farted like a trouper but also needed thoroughly winded during feeds.

The GP scared the shit out of me talking about pyloric stenosis. I could hear him going through his online books looking for what it could be as he just kept on “ummmm” ‘ing down the phone. I’m not convinced.

Funnily enough baby’s next feed was absolutely fine..
