I am fuming, my 5.yr old came home with masacara, eyeshadow and lipstick and stinking of adult strong perfume, it's my ex partner who does this. When I talk to my ex he backs his gf. She's always being bullish towards me. I've always tried to get o with her bit she dosnt. And I feel my ex is controlled by her, what's your opinions pls.

No harm in her dressing up. I wouldn't make a drama out of it, there are much bigger battles!

Just wipe it off and say "Did you have fun dressing up at Daddies? Maybe next time try a nice pale pink that goes better with your pretty hair and maybe not that perfume, I dont think I like that one!"

Shes a wee girl just wanting to dress up and your exes go might just be trying to bond with her rather than piss you off. Dont let it get to you whatever the motivations.

And where your ex is controlled by her is not really your issue as long as your lo is safe and happy visiting.

I wouldn't like this either OP. But I agree with Snowdrop it's not worth a battle with your ex. I wouldn't mention it if I was you.

It's just makeup, it washes off and you can easily explain to dd it's just dress up and she's not to have it on a daily basis. Something like this, which isn't really harmful isn't worth making co-parenting a nightmare over
