Oral thrush 6 week old baby

My baby has a thick white coating on his tounge and on the roof it can't be wiped ? He's not being not eating and he is sucking his dummy fine . He is being abit fussier then usual is this normal ?

It will need treating and if your breast feeding then you will need to treat your nipples.

It’s not a big issue in itself but it can be uncomfortable and it’s the worst nipple pain ever.

My DS had this and it caused no issues. The HV prescribed a cream for his mouth and my nipples and it cleared up. X
