Hi all,

We live in an area with very hard water and it has always been a problem for us adults in terms of dry skin it causes. I was just wondering if there is any product out there that I can add to baby's bath water to make it softer/less harsh? We are first time parents and have only just given our baby his first bath and already noticed a bit of dryness afterwards. I have tried getting companies in to install water softener filters to our main inlet water pipe but there is an issue of access so installing a filter is not an option for us.

Grateful for anyones 'help on ideas/ways of making water softer.
Thanks!

might be worth trying this? you hang it over the bath and it removes the chlorine. I haven't tried it myself x

New Babies tend to have dry skin anyway as their skin adapts to being in the outside world. Might not be related to the bath. We also live in an area with hard water and we bathed our newborn every 3 or 4 days at the start. He had dry skin for the first couple of months. Now he is 4mo, gets a bath every evening and no problems with skin dryness.
