12 nearly 13yo.
Used to be very much a stay in the house kid, would come home from school and play online games with friends rather than going out to play with friends. (Obviously i didn't let that happen 24/7 but if given the choice he would probably only leave the house for school)
In the last 18 months or so he's started to be outside/out with friends (in their houses) much more i suppose due to getting older and the fact that his friends live in the next village so beforehand they weren't allowed to walk/bike that far but now are.
Sorry for the rambling i'll get to the point. Since lockdown i literally cannot get him to leave the house now. I have a 1yo and getting out for an hours walk keeps us sane. 12yo was happy doing this for the first week or so but slowly he's started refusing wanting to go out in favour of playing games online. Schoolwork is a battle that im losing (1yo is very needy and im working several hours a day at home that can only be done in daytime hours) so i can only plead so much before i give in because something else needs my attention.
I feel rubbish because im pretty much letting him do what he wants all day and now i can't even get him out for a walk without an argument. Just having a daily shower that he used to have no problem with is now a battle! Anybody else in a similar boat?
