Stage 123 car seat recommendations

My baby is ready to move out of his infant car seat and I’m actually starting to worry that he’ll be too big for it by the time we actually get to go anywhere in the car again. As we can’t go to the shops at the moment, can you recommend me any stage 123 car seats? I’d ideally like the 123 so we don’t have to buy another in a few years.

Whay age and weight is he?

I have the 'migo titan' it's suitable from birth to 4 years, rear and forward facing, isofix with an additional anchor into the boot, reclining. And it swivels so getting them in and out is so much easier!

@dementedpixie He’s 9 months and although he hasn’t been weighed in a while he’s over 9kg. He’s slim and long and it’s his head poking out of the top of the infant seat that worries me.

Check out the car seat advice uk Facebook page as lots of great advice and reviews of seats on there. Ideally you want to rear face until 4 so if your little one is under 50th centile you'd be ok with a rear facing to 18kg seat, otherwise a rear facing to 25kg seat like an axkid or britax maxway would be best. The joie seats are good budget seats that rear face to 18kg.

A 123 seat is not suitable as he should still be rear facing at that age

We have a joie spin car seat and really like it. DS is almost 3 and is still rear facing

@dementedpixie there are quite a few rear facing 123s now too.
