HV said at new baby check that DS umbilical hernia was normal and would clear up. It now has a lump within it and is leaving yellowish/green gunk on his nappy or vest but doesn’t appear to smell or look red. She is coming back to do 6 week check this week but wasn’t sure if it looked ok or needed to be seen to sooner?

My DD had a lump like that it was an umbilical granuloma. Pretty much where the skin over grows after the umbilical cord falls off. My DDs bled a little then scabbed over and fell off.
I'd imagine if it's not hot/red/smelly then you can probably wait to see the HV.
