Anyone shopped at H&M before for babies?

Wanting to buy my 7 week old baby some bits from H&M as they have some lovely summer dresses and rompers etc but just wondering if they’re true to size or come up big/small? Does anyone know?

Yes love H&M. I'd say they're pretty true to size

DS was long and thin and vests, babygros and all in ones always fitted him well.

He's still long and thin at 7. I still buy a lot of their clothes for him, for age 8-9 and they fit well without being too wide so I assume that means their stuff is generally suited to tall kids. Smile

Yes loads! They fit and wash really well Smile

I actually find that they come up a little in the small side. My LO is a chunk though.

I buy a lot from them for the DC's, especially toddler DC3. They're true to size and wash very well.

I'd say h&m and Tesco have been the 2 places I've never had problems buying bits for ds. They are a brilliant fit! Have fun h&m have an adorable range atm.

The tights were brilliant. 2-5 month (I think) lasted my daughter (long and slim, unlike her mother!) about twice that long.

Shahlalala · 23/04/2020 19:51

My DS is a long baby and they fit well.
DD is a shorter child and got a lot of wear out of the dresses, still long enough the following summer!

RoryGillmoresEvilTwin · 23/04/2020 19:52

Yes. I've bought kids clothes from there for years. Ds wardrobe is probably 90% H&M.

He is long and thin and their clothes fit his waist the best

Thanks everyone! I’ll buy a few bits then now I have an idea what sizing to get. I’d normally take a rough guess and return if they didn’t fit (too small) but don’t want to be faffing aroundSmile I normally shop at next for DD but H&M children’s clothes at the minute are just so nice. She’s quite a small baby so I’ll just buy her size then and they should hopefully fit ok x

I get a lot of things for DD from there. They seem to wash better than some cheaper alternatives like Primark and George
