Hello team.

I have a 14 month old son. He's always had one piece of toast followed by one weetabix for breakfast. Well he's suddenly decided he doesn't like or want it. Maybe he's bored of it. Who knows.

Anyway. I've been giving him dry Cheerios haha. He's not good with fruit or anything like that which sucks. Any ideas about what I can try? I thought a breakfast flapjack of sorts would be good but I'm not keen on golden syrup for breakfast... don't know. Ideas please xx

We do a rotation of scrambled eggs, porridge, different cereals and sometimes pancakes as a treat. Porridge sticks were a hit when she was wee too.

I was going to say that he might very well be bored, having some easy alternatives might help keep him interested in breakfast.

DS used to have omelette/frittata cut into strips, avacodo on toast, or a breakfast muffins (sure they were made with apple sauce and oats and blueberries but can't remember exactly how you make them).

Ds loves omelettes at the moment, nice and quick, and you can sneak veggies into them too.

Anything eggy - boiled, scrambled, poached, omelette, eggy bread
Stewed fruit and porridge or yogurt
Different cereals
Different types of toast/bread - rolls, croissants etc
Even things like cheese on toast, baked beans etc

I've always got to rotate the breakfasts otherwise my two year old will get bored and not eat it.
He likes srambled eggs, crumpets, toast, croissants, porridge, natural yogurt with fruit in, cereal (choco hoops as a treat Smile)

Mine also liked cinnamon bagels toasted with butter. In fact they still like those now
