if you join the yahoo group UKbabywearingSWAP, you can get your hands on a pre-loved didy or storch (4.6m) for about 40quid. well worth it.

you can use a didy wrap sling in any position you can use it safely realy.

VNmum re warmth- I think you may find that dd is warm enough next to you. As for outdoors either buy a large fleece jacket cheap or maybe get a Peekaru Vest from bigmama slings. (she also stocks other babywearing coats)

ita that Girasols and Ellaroos are not that thin and in fact a girasol can be lovely alternative and easier to wear in than a didy or a storch. However I think you get what you pay for with wraps and the pricier ones definately seem to be better for lazy wrappers like me

ITA yahoo group, buy secondhand, already worn in and save some ££!!

Well I tried the standard FWCC this afternoon with the waist bit inside and it seems a bit more supportive than the Moby way.
