I'm posting a thread first time. I have 3 young kids and the youngest is 12 months. He has down syndrome. I just wanted to know if anyone has a child who is the same age with down syndrome in regards to the child's development. What there child is doing in terms of progress. Hope my question makes sense!

I have a 2.5 year old with Down syndrome. At a year old he could roll from front to back and back to front, sit unaided, clap, say mama and dada and would put his arms up when he wanted to be picked up.
Remember Down syndrome or not all children develop differently x

Aw thank you for that. We'll I had to get him a supporting chair to strengthen his back. His physio hasn't called him yet. So I wanted him to sit up. He's can sit up but still bit unstable. He's only saying dada. Did your child have any problem drinking from a bottle by any chance?

Sounds like he’s doing great!
No, he was fine with a bottle although he had terrible reflux and slow weight gain until we’ll after he turned 2 years. Getting him to use a cup took a long time but after trying lots of different ones we found he got on well with a 360 cup rather than a cup with a spout
