Summer parenting pet peeves

Hey! Given it's getting a little warmer outside, I'm doing a quick research about parents' summer pet peeves. What are the things that annoy you most in the summer? Come on, this is time to vent. Sunburns, heat rashes, car sickness - you name it! Let's all have a bit of a rant!

I hate the faff of having to put suncream on everyone! Once you factor in reapplication after a few hours, plus if they get wet. It's just suncream application on a constant loop.

Suncream all the time and my DD refusing to wear a hat despite being very pale and blonde so really needing one

The light nights and mornings. I like cold dark evenings by the fire, thank you very much. It would be fine if we had the weather to be sat outdoors all the time but we don’t reliably.
