Am I panicking too much? Poop issues...

My 24 week old (5.5 months) hasn't pooped in two days, today is day 3. She is my first baby and I dont know if this is normal..
We started weaning her at 5 months on baby rice/puree and usually absolutely fine but all of a sudden, no poop.
She strains like she needs to go but nothing.
We usually give her 5oz first thing, baby rice, 4oz bottle at lunch and some fruit or veg puree, 4oz at 3pm and then 5pm she has fruit/veg puree and a few sips of water. Then 5oz at bed and 6oz at 11pm.
The last couple days we have tried bicycle legs, bouncy chair, small amounts of prune and apple juice, prune puree but nothing. I've now stopped the solids and reverted back to just formula.
She doesnt seem to be uncomfortable and she is her usual happy self so am at a loss.
Any suggestions? Smile

They can do a few days without pooing so I wouldn't be too concerned. As you've started weaning, "p" foods are good - prunes, peaches, plums, peas. Water with every meal too to help the poo pass. Could you try porridge instead of baby rice?

Our DD’s patterns went all over the place when we started weaning. As the poster above said, p folds are good. She’s starting to move onto more solid poo, so it will take a couple of days occasionally. Unless she is in pain I wouldn’t be too concerned.

Yeah, DD went 5 days once and I know other bubbas who went longer at this age. Doesn't mean it's not uncomfortable for them though.

Prunes, mango, pears, lots of water. You could try a little tummy massage too, clockwise circles over the abdomen. You can do it through clothes.

It's a bit early for 3 meals a day if she isnt even 6 months yet. Lay off the rice too as it can cause constipation. Doesnt sound like she's having that much milk for her age either. Milk should be the mainstay of her diet.

Agree with PP, three meals a day is likely too much for her system at this age- NHS advice is once a day.

I'd read the above and act on it, if I were you.
