Why does my 3 month old not like his reflection anymore?

He used to smile like crazy when I held him and we looked in the mirror. Now he turns his head the other way, or buries himself into my neck. I'll turn him around and he will look away again. He doesn't get upset or anything, just seems to not want to look at himself anymore. I find this so strange. Is this normal?

He thinks it’s another baby, and he’s shy! Babies don’t understand the concept of reflections until much older.
