Can anyone help? My ds is 3.5, we've successfully got through potty training (day and night) but he's suddenly started going to the potty every few minutes insisting he needs a wee. He does it at home and at nursery. Should I be worried?

Well little girls get urinary tract infections easily which cause frequent weeing, maybe he's got something similar?

Ruling out anything medical, and though well past potty age with mine, I am aware that they are manipulative - deliberately interrupt a conversation etc and demand to be taken to the loo just if they're a bit bored or want some attention.

Otherwise anxiety perhaps? Any new babies/pets/routines recently? This can set them back.

Good luck and maybe consider pullup pants if it's ruining your days or car journeys

I have recently had a hysterectomy so maybe that has affected him.

I do think he sometimes says he wants a wee to delay doing something he doesn't want to. I don't want to tell him he can't go in case that sets him back.
