Just registered to do a full time Law Degree LLB at Cape Town University for next four years. I am a 48 year old mother of 28 year old daughter and 5 year old son. Myself and my daughter are Scottish, my son is South African. I have had enough bullying in the Cape High Court by my ex husband during a protracted and entirely unneccessary four year divorce. Wish I'd started Law Degree four years ago, might have saved myself £100,000 in legal fees defending my right to keep my child and my business. I now want to change things around somewhat. No mother should endure what I have had to endure while trying to be a happy mom and look after her child. I have been severely prejudiced by the South African Legal System, but I would love to hear from any other mother suffering from unfair and vexatious litigation during divorce.
